The room
A small room that behaves like one
Eighteen seats is not a constraint we are working around. It is the whole design. Five tables, one dinner service, and a kitchen small enough that everything leaving it has been looked at by the person who cooked it.
We do not turn tables. If a party is still talking at ten, that table is theirs until they are finished, which means we cannot sell it twice and have stopped pretending otherwise. The consequence is that there are fewer reservations here than the room's size suggests, and that the ones there are, are real.
The menu changes with what the boats and the farms on the peninsula are willing to give us. There is no printed carte to consult in advance. Come hungry and tell us what you cannot eat.

The floor plan
Five tables, and we will tell you which one
There is no "best table" kept back for someone else. There are five, they are all in the same room, and the book assigns you one when you reserve.
The second window table. On its own it seats three comfortably; pushed against L1 it becomes the only table in the room that will take four by the window.
The banquette. Backed against the long wall, which makes it the quietest four-top we have and the one people ask for by name once they have sat in it.
The free-standing four-top in the middle of the floor. Most of the room happens around it, which is either the point or the problem depending on the night.
Six seats along the pass, close enough to the kitchen to hear the ticket printer. The only table that takes a party of six, and the reason six is the largest party we will book online.
L1 + L2, joined — the two window tables push together into the only four-top by the glass. The book does this on its own when a party of three or four asks for a night the join is free; you do not have to request it, and you will see it on your confirmation.

One service, five nights
Dinner only. Doors at 5:30 pm, last seating at 8:30 pm, kitchen closed at 10:30 pm.
Closed Mondays and Tuesdays
Two consecutive dark days is not an oversight — it is how a kitchen this small stays a kitchen this good. There is no service on Mondays and Tuesdays and the reservation book will not offer you one.

The largest party the room seats at one table is 6, so that is the largest we take online. Anything bigger is a conversation, not a form — write to nakhlamike@gmail.com and we will work out whether the room can do it.

- Metered street parking on Bull and Rutledge is free after 6pm. The Ashley Avenue garage is a six-minute walk.
- The dining room is at street level with a single shallow step at the door; tell us in advance and it is bridged before you arrive.
